This was a size large, I am roughly 5.3 and 180lbs. As you can see it hits my knee so I’m not sure I would call it a mini dress but in any case I like the length. The best part is it has pockets!

I'm 5'4" and short waisted, and this dress fits without looking like it's swallowed me. The shorter length is definitely not mini on me, but it's short enough to flatter my petite frame. I love that the dress is modest and simple, flattering my figure without overwhelming me. The fabric is a medium thickness self-lined cotton/poly/spandex blend that feels good and drapes well. I always feel most comfortable in cotton and I'm glad this dress has a majority cotton composition. I have a few dresses from the RWJ brand and I've found them to be well made, and even heard that comment from an excellent seamstress when I've had some of them hemmed. This dress meets my expectations and fits well, so I'm rating it five stars.

This dress is sadly a bit frumpy looking in person. Skirt of the dress lays flatter to the body than advertised and wears a bit bigger than expected. Not very figure flattering. I ordered this for my teenage daughter for upcoming events that require black dress-casual attire and we aren't overly impressed with the look. Material is semi-soft, semi-smooth cotton blend, stretchy and breathable. Quality and value of this item is just "meh" in my opinion.

It isn’t often that I buy a dress, sight unseen, that fits as well and looks as good on me as this RWJ long sleeve mini dress which I ordered in black.I’m a curvy octogenarian , 5”2”, 40-42 C cup and between a size 14W to 16W depending on cut and style. When in doubt, I order up as I did with this 2XL size as I don’t want clothing to cling.The shoulders on this dress are perfect on me and gives it a tailored look. I have short arms but the long sleeves fall about three inches above my wrists, giving me enough room for a bracelet or watch to be displayed.The arm length, in my calculating, approximately measures 16 1/4 inches from the arm pit seam and 23 1/2 inches from the shoulder seam. The dress from the arm pit seam to the hem measures 29 inches. This falls midway on my knees, and pretty much hides my knee replacement scars. I do wish manufacturers would include more detailed measurements in their advertising.The cotton/polyester/spandex dress material is heavier and warmer than I expected. It, in my opinion, is more suitable for fall and winter. However, the dress is well constructed , has finished seams, two generous sized pockets and a flattering A line style.Based on my experience, I’m glad I ordered up a size.

I love the vibrant red, it makes the dress stand out (more about this later) and it has lay flat pockets, always a plus. While it is not polyester, it is a rayon blend, I’m just not crazy with how that works, it feels like a ‘man made’ fabric, rather than natural fibers. Maybe it’s that great red color, maybe it’s the long puffy sleeves combined with loose skirt, I’m not sure, but I feel like this dress enters the room before I do.

This is nice dress and I got it in a larger size sine I usually like an oversized look to layer with these type of dresses. The color is great and the material feels nice even softer after washing and air drying it. The fit of the dress is accurate it seems so buy your normal size unless you want a larger fit. I really like the regal fit of this dress. I am short, 5'2" and so it hits just below the knee on me and I was counting on that. I don't really like a hem at the knee or just above it. This dress has clean lines and the seams accentuate female curves in a subtle way. They kind of direct the eye. It is very professional and modest, it will take me to work functions, court and church. I chose it in navy that has a a great depth and rich saturation of color to it. You could pair it with a blazer for a more buttoned up look or a nice cardigan to soften it a bit but it is a great stand alone piece too. I love that versatility as I often need that. The pockets are a deal maker and they are set in the seam so they are more sleek with the profile of this silhouette. The slight A-line skirt is ideal for slim hips or even pear shaped bodies. This dress can conceal what you may not like about your shape almost regardless of your shape. It might not work well with a flatter chest, though. I am busty and this thing is complimentary without it being in your face. I needed this dress and plan to wear it often to all the places and spaces, lol. True to size and fits great.
