I got this modest dress in the green floral mainly for an autumn church dress. The color feels very appropriate for the season change, and the dress is easy to slip on and wear in comfort. I like the full sleeves which look pretty, and I like the overall coverage the dress provides. I can feel at ease walking up the steps to the altar or helping out with potluck after services and not have to adjust anything to keep my dress looking decent. In hindsight, I don't think the print is flattering for me but I wanted the green because it's my best color and one that I love to wear, so I'm reasonably happy with my choice. I'm 5'4" and the proportions aren't quite correct on me due to my petite size but the smocking makes it less of an issue than with a more fitted waist. I need to get the dress hemmed because it's extremely long on me, but I expected that from the photos and I don't regard it as a problem. I've had other dresses from this brand and found them consistently roomy and easy to wear. I disagree with the suggestion in the listing to size up. I ordered size L which covers misses 10-12 according to the size chart, and the fit on me is very relaxed. Overall, the dress is what I expected and suits my need for a church dress for the fall, so I am happy with the order.

I often avoid floral patterns on dresses, but this one completely hooked me! I love the contrast of the warm and cool colors, the pinkish-beige flowers on the blue background, and the artistic accents of orange-brown ... so beautiful! But then there's the practical side: how did it fit? Perfectly! Of course, it helps that I compared my size to their chart beforehand. How does it feel? Absolutely comfortable! The fabric lays well and floats nice, and the band around the waist is particularly flattering for the curves it highlights. Very happy!
